The "Quick Wash" method combines ethanol and cannabis together for very short periods of time, usually between 20 seconds and 3 minutes. Quick washing aims to dissolve the maximum amount of cannabinoids from the trichome heads of the plant, without extracting natural plant waxes or chlorophyll.
The "Full Extract" method combines ethanol and cannabis together for long periods of time, usually between 5 minutes and 30 minutes, in an effort to extract the complete biological profile of the cannabis plant, including all cannabinoids, lipids (waxes), oils, chlorophyll, terpenes, and any other substance except (for fiber) that is present inside or on the outside of the plant.
