From North, South, East, and West, 
Get to I-95 and take exit 182A to I-395 East toward Bangor/Brewer. Take Exit 4 off I395, say right off the exit past the on-ramp to get back on, and take next right onto East-West Industrial Parkway Road.  Go up the short hill, over the RR tracks and around the sharp left bend, our building is the first driveway on the left.  The sign out front says "SnapSpace Solutions".  Visit the Contact page for a picture of our building.

Culinary Solvent is considered pure alcohol and is therefore taxed at a rate of $2.70 per proof gallon by the Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB).   This tax applied to ethanol is also known as the "Federal Excise Tax".

Answer:  According to tincture.recipes, your tincture is ready in as little as 3 minutes, or as many as 20 minutes.  Some folks choose to let their tincture sit for longer than this, however there is no clear data showing that increased time over 20 minutes increases potency.

What is the difference between a "wine gallon" and a "proof gallon"?

Answer:  A "wine gallon" is a measurement of any liquid's total volume.  1 "wine gallon" is equal to 128 fl oz or 3.78 liters.  

A "proof gallon" is a measurement of only the ethyl alcohol contained in a given volume of liquid.  1 proof gallon is equal to 1 wine gallon of liquid containing 50% ethanol.
