Who makes Culinary Solvent?
It all began with a business plan to turn Maine potatoes into premium vodka. We (Scott Galbiati and Jessica Jewell) met while pursuing degrees in engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in upstate NY. That plan, first draft complete December 2004, guided the founders in building the Northern Maine Distilling Company from the ground up. The first location was in Houlton, Maine and in 2013 we moved the operation to the current location in Brewer, Maine. We offer a diverse line up of for-beverage and non-beverage products focused on the supremly pure neutral ethanol.
